R&M Learning Centre  is looking for highly motivated individuals who love teaching and working with students ( grade 7-12). The candidate should have good organizational and interpersonal skills along with being a team player, multitasker and able to work evenings and weekends. 

  Job description 

• Teach students with a sense of humor and capable increase an interesting learning environment.
• Provide tutoring assistance;
• Prepare subject material for presentation according to the curriculum
• Prepare, administer, and correct tests;
• Evaluate the progress of students and discuss results with students, parents, and school officials;
• Develop course content;
• Assign and correct homework.

Special skills:

• Familiar with the Ontario Curriculum.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teaching experience or tutoring experience asset.
• Mastering in teaching other subjects is an asset.
• Ontario Certificate Teacher is an asset
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Excels at working independently and as part of a team. Has had experience dealing with complex interpersonal situations with colleagues, students, families, etc.

 Languages - Native  English 

 Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Teacher's Training/Certificate/Degree in Ed or currently enrolled in an Education program is an asset.

 Part-time hours : 3-15  hours per week 

 Schedule:

• Weekend availability
• Evening 

 Experience:

• Teaching: 3 years (preferred)
• Tutoring: 3 years (preferred)

 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Police Reference Check, satisfactory to R&M Learning Centre is a requirement of this position. All R&M Learning Centre employees are required to be fully vaccinated as a condition of hire in accordance with R&M Learning Centre's  Vaccination in the Workplace policy.
